WOW what a weekend of racing.
In 2 days we saw Brian Yarrison, Randy Campbell, and Bob English, lose an engine.
Then Brian Wallace hits the jersey wall head on with his vette after a big wheel stand, wind may have been a factor.
Bob English tries to launch the fiat into space.
Saturday rain delays all day with multiple cars breaking on track. At one point the track announcer said we got 2 rounds in 9 hours.
Three minutes before curfew MANDRA got the finals run on Saturday night.
I give a big thanks to Beaver springs crew for their hard work on Saturday to get the race in.
I would like to thank all MANDRA members for their patience during the long day Saturday. With good friends and good food the time passes quickly.
Saturday saw RANDY CAMPBELL take home the win. Our race sponsor CHARLIE INNERST finished runner up with BILL WERT and MIKE VOLPE in the semi-finals.
Sunday's weather was a lot better for the ROBERT CRIAG ENGLISH MEMORAL RACE. It was a bit of a slow pace day.
We finished up around 9:00.
JARRED WALLACE got his first MANDRA win by taking out ANTHONY PICONE in final not a easy thing to do. GEOFF SOTAK and GARY SCOTT in semi-finals.
BOB ENGLISH gave out 3 awards best appearing car went to MARC LONGACRE. Best RT in time shots went to JARRED WALLACE with a .0000 light in 2nd round of time shots, and worst RT time in finals also goes to JARRED who had a .130 light.

HAPPY EASTER MANDRA!
Saturday was a great day for our season opener. The weather was just about perfect for racing.
We had 19 cars signed in.
Ray Bloom had possible converter problems, Tim Milliron was leaking water, and Charlie Innerst destroyed a motor which left 16 cars.
The 1st round saw Jim Shearer, Bob English, Merritt Snyder, Bob Calimer, Randy Campbell, Ed Kelly, Frank Giallonardo, and Brain Yarrison all take wins.
Round 2 Merritt Snyder takes out Frank Giallonardo, Jim Shearer gets a bye run the result of Ed Kelly hurting his car, Randy Campbell ends Bob Calimer's day and Bob English stops Brain Yarrison from advancing.
Semi-finals Bob English and Randy Campbell, Bob with a .050 light Randy with a .114 light giving Bob the win.
.Jim Shearer and Meritt Snyder both with bad lights Jim goes
10.74 on a 10.67 for win.
Final Bob English and Jim Shearer. Bob dials at 9.15 and goes 9.17. Jim dials in at 10.67 goes 10.66.
Bob got win at the tree with a RT of .032 over Jim's .168.

MANDRA at South Mountain 5/18/25

WOW what a great day of racing !
SUNDAY MANDRA had 33 cars signed in but when we got to 1st round Robert Taylor had issue with a tee on brake line and Bob Smith after pulling a impressive wheelie had a front tire go flat leaving 31 cars in 1st round giving new member Scott Hasko a bye with a RT of .002.
In the 1st round the winnerxls were VIC FIORE, TiM GRACE , CHARLIE INNERST, TIM MILLIRON, JARRED WALLACE, BRAD DENNING, JIM SHEARER, MERRITT SNYDER, FRANK GIALLONARDO, RAY BLOOM, BOB ENGLISH, ED KELLY, IRVIN JOHNSON, MIKE VOLPE, ANTHONY PICONE, AND SCOTT HASKO.
MOVING ON TO ROUND TWO.
Round 2 winners were, Jim Shearer, Jarred Wallace, Vic Fiore, Frank Giallonardo, Tm Grace, Bob English, Mike Volpe, and Merritt Snyder.
Round 3 winners were, Jim Shearer stops Jarred Wallace, Merritt Snyder ends Mike Volpes day, Bob English puts Tim Grace on the trailer, Frank Giallonardo shuts down Vic Fiore.
Semi-finals Merritt Snyder goes 6.97 on a 6.98 with a RT of .025, Bob English does a 5.76 on a 5.78 with a RT of .035 giving Merritt the win. Frank Giallonardo oes 8.19 on a 8.14 with a .064 RT, Jim Shearer does a 6.77 on a 6.79 with a RT of .029 giving Frank the win.
FINALS Merritt Snyder with a RT of .035 runs a 6.98 on a 6.98, Frank goes RED and runs a 8.08 on a 8.15.
