Car: Wully Bully - 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air 2dr sedan,
Car #: I use #602 (Dave Strickler's number when he raced Chevrolet in 1963),
Engine: 1963 vintage iron 409 Chevrolet engine, bored and stroked to 450ci, 2-4 barrel carbs,
Best Time:10.20 @130 mph, car weighs almost 3800 lbs with me.
Favorite Track: I really like Numidia, I won a MANDRA event and made it to the semi's a few times.
EVENTS: I won my class at Good Guys' Indy in 2001,
have raced at Bowling Green NHRR 2005 &2006, Good Guys' Indy 2001, 2002 & 2004,
many MANDRA events & ECNSSA & other nostalgia events.
Crew- Carl & Chris Esser, mechanics,
Michele, Philip and Adam support crew (cheering & financial!)
Carl built the car in 1988-1990, first raced in 1991, I helped crew him with it 1991-1999, started driving it in 2001, Michele and I have owned it since late 2005, I raced a little in 1990-1991, then as above.
I was first Secretary/Treasurer for MANDRA 1999-2004, was one of the founding members,
am registered with PA as one of the three original legal representatives of MANDRA (along with Carl and Ralph),
wrote most of the by-laws and rules of MANDRA.
